Welcome!

Welcome to Twin Peaks Café – a quiet, curious corner of the internet where stories are sipped slowly, feelings run deep, and nothing is ever just what it seems.

My name is Julia. I’m a writer, dreamer, memory collector, and professional over-thinker who’s made pace with the fact that I feel everything a little too much – and that’s exactly how I like it.

I created this space for all the souls who see the world in cinematic moments: the kind who find poetry in shadows, comfort in Earl Grey tea, and meaning in the way the light hits an empty cup. Twin Peaks Café is a place where I write about the things that stir me – film, music, art, books, nostalgia, longing, beauty, grief, joy and the quiet magic of everyday life.

If this was a physical café, it’d be tucked away in a rainy town where the coffee’s strong, the playlists are moody and the regulars all have soft hearts and good stories. You’d find me in the back booth, scribbling in a notebook, probably crying over a film score or falling in love with a line of poetry.

You’re always welcome here – whether you come for the damn fine coffee, long stories or just a moment of stillness in a world that’s moving too fast.

Pull up a chair. Stay as long as you like. The pie is always warm.

PS: I believe that penguins are signs from the universe, and that books and songs find you exactly when you need them.
